Supporting Your Baby’s Development, Every Step of the Way

Free, 30-minute infant screenings

Curious if your baby is meeting their movement milestones?
Do you have questions about your baby’s development?

Our infant screenings are a 30-minute check-in with a pediatric physical therapist to see how your little one is moving, growing, and exploring the world. We take our time to answer any questions you may have about your baby’s development.

If you’re concerned about your infant’s feeding, visit our feeding and lactation pages.

We’ll watch simple things like:

  • Head control
  • Rolling
  • Reaching, kicking, crawling
  • Strength
  • Flexibility
  • Posture
  • Movement patterns
  • Developmental milestones

Every baby develops at their own pace, but an early check can:

  • Spot delays before they become bigger challenges
  • Ease worries and answer your questions
  • Give you simple tips to support your baby at home

What happens next?

If everything looks on track → Wonderful! No next steps needed. We can discuss how to keep your baby on the right track if you have additional questions.

If we notice any concerns → We’ll guide you through options and provide information about the next steps and what those look like.

You don’t have to wonder or worry—you’ll leave with a clear plan for your baby’s development.

Many Factors Shape Your Baby’s Development

Every baby grows and learns at their own pace—but a variety of factors can influence how they move, play, feed, and communicate. That’s why our team offers services across multiple areas, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and lactation. Visit our general screenings page to learn about all of our services if you are experiencing other difficulties in your infant’s day.

Holistic. Evidence Based. Effective.

Our therapists have in depth knowledge of infant anatomy, movement patterns, and developmental milestones.

With this specialized training, they can identify early signs of asymmetry, tension, or movement restrictions and provide effective techniques to support your baby’s growth and development.

Our physical therapists are dedicated to always working to reduce the need for further interventions.

Anytime is the right time for a screening

Early screenings allow us to gently address any movement restrictions or asymmetries before they become more pronounced, often reducing the need for longer interventions later on. Conservative treatment is always our goal. The earlier we start, the quicker and easier the process! If therapy is recommended, the screening therapist will review with you what that process looks like.
