Our commitment
Accessibility statement
We serve children of every ability, and we want our website to be usable by every parent, caregiver and professional who visits it.
BDI Playhouse Children’s Therapy is committed to making bdiplayhouse.com accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we review the site regularly as we add content.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link.
- Headings, landmarks and link text are written so screen readers can navigate and describe each page.
- Text and controls meet contrast requirements, and images that carry meaning have text alternatives.
- Nothing flashes, and background video never plays for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
- The Accessibility options button in the corner of every page lets you enlarge text, raise contrast, underline links, reduce motion and widen letter spacing. Your choices are saved on your device.
- The site is responsive and can be zoomed to 200% without losing content or function.
Our clinics
Both clinics, in Orland Park and Naperville / Aurora, are wheelchair accessible and have accessible parking. We do not have interpreters on staff. If your family needs one, or anything else to make a visit work, tell us when you schedule and we will plan together.
Known limitations
Some older documents and third-party embeds (maps, scheduling and PDF forms) come from other providers and may not fully meet these guidelines. If you run into something you cannot use, contact us and we will provide the information or form another way.
Request an accommodation
Call (708) 478-1820 or email info@bdiplayhouse.com. Tell us what you need and we will work with you, for example by going over information by phone or sending it to you in another format.
Feedback
We welcome feedback about the accessibility of this site. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will respond within five business days.
